Welcome to Cars from Japan Ltd. We specialise in importing high quality used cars directly from Japanese auctions to the UK, although we deal mainly in German cars, we can import any make or model on request. We are Audi / Volkswagen specialists and have experience in converting most models to European specification including speedometer conversion to MPH, odometer programming to read in miles and conversion of Entertainment and Navigation systems with the latest maps and firmware.
Our bespoke package works by agreeing an OTR (on the road) price for a specific make and model, you pay us a deposit and we send you up to 5 cars per week matching your specification. Once we have bought a car at auction for you we will ask for 50% of the total agreed OTR price. We arrange shipping from Japan and collect your car from port in the UK. When your car arrives we take care of everything including conversion and registration in your name, you pay us the remaining 50% on handover and your new car comes with a fresh MOT, oil and filters service, 6-months road tax and a 6-month warranty.
We also buy stock cars which we begin marketing on our website the moment they are collected by our agents in Japan. These cars are fixed price, come fully converted, registered and include a 6-month warranty.
We are not a traditional car dealer in a sense that we don't have a showroom or forecourt, instead we operate purely online and are able to offer substantial discounts compared to our competitors. All cars listed on our website can be viewed remotely via video call (Whats app, Zoom, Skype, Teams etc) or in person, viewings are by appointment only. We are happy to send detailed videos and photographs of cars and can send scans of paperwork for inspection.
